Borgo dei Salinari Apartments

My wife and I had a short but intense weekend in Cervia, a small seaside town we love like a second home. To us, it's a place to retreat and reflect, with alleys that carry the smell of the sea and history. We stayed at the Borgo dei Salinari Apartments, tucked into the historic center inside the old salt workers' walls. Those walls still hold Cervia's authentic spirit, shaped by culture, hard work, the sea, and centuries of Romagna tradition. The owner welcomed us with the cheerful, genuine warmth people here are known for, and we felt at home straight away. Our apartment was a little gem, mixing modern style with antique details. Exposed beams, high ceilings, and bright rooms were paired with simple furnishings and period pieces, all bringing out the beauty of the restoration. Talking with the owner, I appreciated how much care she put into describing the renovation and reviving every part of the village. She also showed us another, smaller apartment that was just as charming. We've already decided to consider it for a longer visit. Past and present sit together beautifully here. We'll be back soon.
