The location was good and the rooms basic, and one Lady on staff was polite and nice. The rest of the staff seemed incompetent and unwilling to help. They took our ID cards in the evening and nobody at reception reminded us to collect them when we got our keys the next morning. We were tired and didn't realize they still had them. We had already reached Tuscany before noticing, so we rented a car and drove an extra 500km there and back. We lost a day of our trip. We know it was basically our fault, but staff should check that guests get their documents back when returning the keys. Almost none of the workers spoke basic English, which is a must these days. It's the bloody XXI century, not medieval times. Luckily, I know some Italian from ordering thousands of pizzas back when Margherita was 4-5€. The stay was generally fine, but with private parking at 20€ per night, I'd only recommend this place to people looking for the cheapest option and who don't mind reception staff who can't deal with customers.

I was there for a business trip, and wouldn't have chosen it otherwise. The bed had a dip in the middle, so sleeping on it felt like sleeping in a hammock. This morning they came into my room and woke me up as if it were nothing. The room was embarrassing: the door couldn't open all the way because a drawer was behind it, and the loose sink kept moving. The bathroom was a piece of garbage squeezed into a 2 by 1 meters space, with no shampoo holder or other basic hotel bathroom needs. I can't understand why anyone would pick this place on purpose, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I'D RATHER SLEEP ON THE BEACH!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BOOKING WITH THEM AT ALL!! I booked 2 rooms a month ahead, but they canceled the reservation, saying my card couldn't be validated through Booking. I'd already called the hotel twice to try to sort it out. The answer was simple: book at Hotel Helvetia instead, where I got a room for 4 at a better price, and my card went through right away, also through Booking. After something like this, I wish it were possible to block this hotel on Booking so it wouldn't show up in the results. As I said, I'D RATHER SLEEP ON THE BEACH THAN STAY WITH THEM!!!!
