Hotel Villa Ombrosa

We ended up staying just one day of the week we'd booked because an unexpected event at home meant we had to return early. The hotel was run-down, with dirty rooms, poor food, and little care for the details. On top of that, the owner wasn't accommodating and charged us a substantial part of the stay for that one night, even after we explained why we had to leave.

The food seemed to be frozen, and probably was. The rooms were so poorly cleaned that it's hard to call them clean at all. The rag used on the floor left a horrible smell, the mattresses were embarrassingly hard, like the floor, and the pillows felt like one-euro discount-store purchases. I wouldn't consider staying overnight.

For years, this has been my regular weekend getaway. The rooms are spacious and spotless, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is just steps from the center and the beach, with restaurants, bars, piadina shops, ATMs, and a mini market nearby.

After a day at the beach, it's lovely to relax with a drink in the garden. I stayed here with my parents, and found the rooms impeccably clean. The food was excellent and the staff serving it were attentive. The hotel is well located near both the beach and the city center.
