Meet Hostel Cervia

It takes around 40 minutes to walk to the city center, though renting a bike for 15€ a day is a practical way to get around. The room for eight people had just one bathroom, and there wasn't a separate common one, which disappointed me. There also aren't enough electrical outlets in the rooms.

The beach is about 50 m from the hostel, and the city is only 1.4 km away. The food is great, including options for diets such as no lactose. The rooms have what you need: fans, beds, large bathrooms, and little safes for different things. Incredible place, and one of the best for the price. I'd gladly stay again any day.

The hostel was a great budget option by the sea for our two families with children, who stayed two nights to visit Mirabilandia. We found it cheaper to stay here and take a taxi there. We booked a large taxi at the railway station for 50 euros. For getting to the hostel, Bus 201 runs from the railway station, and the “Regina Munda” stop is about 100 metres away. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the pillows and mattress were new. Our first-floor room didn't get too hot, and they provided two fans. We could cook in the kitchen, which had plates, cups, cutlery, a kettle, pots, and pans. Breakfast was included and tasty. There's a pine grove, the sea, and the beach in front of the hostel, plus a downstairs relaxation area with board games. Shops are close by too. The staff were very polite and hospitable, and all of us really enjoyed our stay.

For the price, it's hard to beat. The staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean, decent, and spacious.
