Park Zaira

A lovely hotel, and the drinks were good too.

A nice place.

The sea is a fairly long walk from the hotel, which could be inconvenient with children, and the food was only acceptable. There wasn't much choice in the seafood dishes or a children's menu. Family facilities also fell short: there was no children's pool or proper entertainment program, and the play area was dirty and had damaged equipment. There wasn't a safe, well-equipped place for children to play either. The room was uncomfortable in several ways. It was small, with old-looking furniture, a poor level of cleaning, an uncomfortable bed, and little sound insulation, so noise from the hallway and other rooms made sleeping difficult. The bathroom was cramped with nowhere to put toiletries, and the hairdryer kept cutting out. The air conditioning also stopped working suddenly, leaving the room hot. The shared areas weren't clean either. There was debris in the hallways, dust on the furniture, and carpets that seemed not to have been vacuumed in a long time. The car park gate was often left open, a safety concern with so many children around. And without children's entertainers during meals, parents had to manage on their own, which made mealtimes stressful. All of this made for a disappointing stay at the Hotel Family, especially in terms of room condition, cleanliness, safety, family amenities, and food.

I got back a few days ago, and honestly, it was a terrible experience. The staff were friendly, but the owners were nowhere to be seen and could only be reached by email. The website also showed a lot of things that just weren't there, and it didn't say that payment was due on arrival. There was hardly any entertainment, and what little there was felt low energy. No kids' club, and no evening entertainment either. The food was mostly packaged, repetitive, and nowhere near what I'd expect from a hotel. The buffet kept serving the same things, also packaged, and even breakfast had packaged cakes and very little yogurt. Our room wasn't very clean. The wallpaper was dirty, there was nowhere in the bathroom to put things, and the mattress had loose springs. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you only need somewhere to sleep for a night, if even that.
