Hotel President

The fresh, clean feel of the hotel makes sense: the mother and daughters who run it took over recently and have completely renovated it. They’re professional, kind, and attentive. It sits among pine trees, about 50 meters from a lovely beach, with good restaurants and other amenities nearby. Breakfast was great, especially the tasty fresh seasonal fruit. Though it’s rated three stars, the stay and service felt like four-star quality at a two-star price. Free parking is a real plus in this area. I’d recommend it.

We spent most evenings relaxing in the green garden with aperitivi, and the staff were so generous and helpful that nothing felt like a problem. The beach is just seconds away. Borrowing a bike was fun too, and the nearby towns are only about ten minutes away by cycle.

We were booked for four nights, but if I’d arrived earlier, I wouldn’t have stayed even the first one. The room felt like a prison cell: about 10 feet wide, with a steel door and a tiny mattress. It’s out in the sticks, though luckily there’s a good eScooter network, since taxis are scarce.

The location by the sea and restaurants was great, and the hotel had plenty of facilities. Everything was very clean, with a warm atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and nice. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. We’ll definitely go again!
