Villa del Mare Spa Resort

We were upgraded to a family suite with a huge balcony facing the sea, and the hotel included sunbeds at bagno 169. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Breakfast had plenty of choice. My one gripe is that pool access costs 50 euros per adult, which we hadn't been told about. We'll definitely be back.

We left a night before our booking ended because the stay was so poor. The linens weren't clean, and breakfast didn't seem clean either: the jars weren't washed properly and the bread was stale. Check-in was difficult because the assigned staff member didn't speak English. The walls are thin, and footsteps carry along the ceramic corridors, so someone walking at night can wake you up. I wouldn't recommend this place. I don't understand its high rating on booking or how it became a 4-star hotel.

The staff were kind and attentive, breakfast was good quality, and the rooms and hotel were clean. Recommended.

We had an exceptional stay during the 2019 Italian Ironman. The room was spacious and spotless, and breakfast each day was fantastic. The front desk staff, especially Nicole, were a big help with a few extra requests. The quality of the hotel really added to our great time in Cervia. Thank you.
