The wine list is huge, with bottles from all over Italy, and the sommelier gave us really helpful suggestions. We loved the starters even more than the pizzas, especially the bruschetta with pumpkin, mushrooms and lardo. The pizzas were good too, and the staff were super friendly. Locals had pointed us here for the pizza and atmosphere, and it lived up to that. The castle setting is stunning, with several dining rooms, including some cozy private ones. Thanks for a lovely night :)

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, but the food was awful. The meat was the worst I’ve ever had, and the dessert was much too sweet, like it came from a shop. Portions were small, which I wouldn’t have minded if the food had tasted good. It didn’t. I’m no chef, but I can cook better myself. With three glasses of champagne included, the total was €110 (receipt attached), which felt excessive for that quality. €7 for a glass of prosecco is fine, but the food was simply terrible. I came with my family for lunch expecting something special based on the reviews. Sorry.

We had a great selection of wines at reasonable prices, and the service and food were excellent as usual. Tonight we started with delicious cheeses from different parts of Italy, then had a “Tagliata” of premium fillet steak cooked just right.

The staff were fantastic, really professional, and the food was delicious and clearly high quality. The wine was beautiful too. We were back in Italy after 3 years to visit family and chose Quel Castello di Diegaro for dinner. Everything was perfect 👌 Really recommend it 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We only had two days to plan our small wedding celebration with close friends and family, but a couple of emails with the owner was all it took. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, and the whole day went perfectly. The food was extraordinary, some of the best pasta we’ve had in Italy, and the roasted crunchy piglet with wine sauce was exquisite. For the service we received, the price was more than reasonable. This beautiful restaurant and its lovely people have a permanent place among our favorite spots in Italy.
