Hotel Caesar

We were two adults, our three-year-old, and my parents. We booked a triple and a double room, and one was upgraded to a triple at no extra charge. The family-run hotel has about 50-60 rooms, and its shared spaces are tidy and practical. We could see how much care people take in their work. Our triple room was a 10/10. It was spacious, with three full-size beds, two bedside tables, a desk, a mini fridge, and a wall safe. Using the safe was free, though we had to leave a few euros as a deposit because it uses a regular key. The bathroom was great, with a toilet, bidet, large sink, mirror almost as big as the room, and excellent lighting. The shower cubicle was roomy enough to fit a small children's tub if needed. The air conditioning was the best I've had in a hotel: quiet, kept the room cool, and didn't blow cold air directly onto the beds. The balcony was a good size, with room for drying swimsuits and towels, two sun loungers, and sand toys. There was also a decent TV with lots of channels. The room was spotless, and Anna, our lovely cleaner, was very flexible about coming later if we needed the room for any reason. There are two play areas, one shaded by the bar with a swing, playhouses, and a slide, and another near the restaurant packed with toys. We didn't make much use of the children's entertainment, but it was available. The pool area has three pools: a full-size one for adults, a very shallow one for children, and a jacuzzi. They were all kept at 25 degrees, which was lovely even in the heat. The hotel also has loads of pool toys and provides beach and pool towels freely, as many as you need. Breakfast is served in the bar area. There's a continental selection, cold cuts, eggs, yogurt, milk, fruit, and cereals, as well as a classic Italian breakfast with pastries, cakes, biscuits, toast, and freshly made crepes with nutella. You can get water, juices, and freshly made coffees to order too. For lunch and dinner, you choose one of 5-6 first courses and 5-6 second courses. The menu appears at your table the evening before, and you need to order in advance. There's also a wide selection of cold starters, breads, and sauces. At the end of the meal, you can choose from the usual desserts plus one special option. The portions were generous, and after eight days the food stayed good and varied without getting boring. The restaurant staff were fantastic about our requests with a picky toddler, and the kitchen was happy to make something off the menu within reason if we asked the day before. Their panna cotta was excellent. The hotel is right across from the beach, and our quote included beach umbrellas and sun loungers. I highly recommend the hotel and hope we'll return!

The pool was great, the food was delicious, and the beach is so close. Every member of staff gave fantastic service.

We spent two nights over the May Day long weekend. The room was perfect, spacious, and facing the sea, and the breakfast was excellent and generous. The location is hard to beat, and they offer free bikes. But it's the people who make the difference. We were welcomed with smiles and great helpfulness, and the owner even found a way for us to eat that evening when they had no dinner space left. At dawn, they also went out of their way to let me melt the gelatine I needed for the mandatory tanning for my daughter's competition. Their kindness was outstanding. We'll definitely be back.

The location is excellent, but the stay left us unimpressed. We were there with family in September 2025. Our room was clean, but small and very dated, and there's only one elevator for all the guests. The food was a big disappointment: portions were small and the dishes poorly executed, nothing like the website photos. The information was unclear, especially about the rate for girls aged 1 and 2 and the special beach resort offer. Those unpleasant surprises completely spoiled our stay. The hotel feels stuck in the 1980s.
