The breakfast was disappointing too. The coffee machine kept breaking, and staff repeatedly checked whether we'd paid for breakfast. I understand why, but it was still annoying. If you weren't up very early when they cleaned and organized rooms, they wouldn't come back later. On our last night, the AC had stopped working. Trying the wall control did nothing, and we slept in the heat like melting gelato. For a four-star hotel? Seriously, they should be ashamed. We stayed three nights after leaving a three-star hotel that was much better. I wish we could turn back time, because I wouldn't have left it. At Fiamma, we were received decently, and the room looked nice, but it was warm and we couldn't find the AC control at first. My boyfriend figured out how to turn it on using something on the wall. The view was bad, lol, just their other hotel across the way, and it was very loud at night. We paid for a parking spot and chose the hotel's indoor option, which was the most expensive among the options inside or outside. The next day our spot was gone. We complained to a guy who worked there, and he gave us a space outside. Hello? We'd planned to ask for the price difference before leaving, but changed our minds so we wouldn't get even more stressed. The other hotel had given us tickets for discounts at nearby restaurants, had really nice staff, and cleaned our room when they saw us leaving at the time we wanted. We could turn the AC on and off as we pleased, and the view and food were spectacular. I think I'll copy what I wrote here into that hotel's comments because it deserves it. If you're wondering, it was hotel atlas. I'm never coming back to this hotel fiamma. You made me so stressed and angry. I'm glad you were our second choice and close enough for us to leave Italy, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone. You can find something better, you're not missing anything there!
