Garden

We ate really well all week, with varied, excellent food from breakfast through dinner. The pool was lovely and never crowded, and the staff were friendly and always available. The partner beach, very close by, was one of the nicest in Valverde. Our room was small and dated, but it had everything we needed. I would have liked the all-inclusive package to cover a bottle of water in the room, the fruit buffet, and coffee at the bar. Entertainment could be added too, if possible.

For a three-star place, nearly everything worked well. The mattress was the exception: it seemed a few years old, like a pre-war spring mattress. I hope the manager uses the new season to replace the ones ready for disposal. If guests really have to ask reception to fix this, that would be an even bigger problem, especially since this mattress was truly unsuitable.

The single room felt a little narrow, though the terrace gave me a view of the sea. The hotel is quiet and only steps from the beach, and kindness seems to be part of the place. The food was plentiful and varied, more than satisfactory, and breakfast was excellent.
