Hotel Bella Zurigo

The rooms are a little dated, but the service was excellent. They cleaned daily and changed the towels when needed. Breakfast had sweet and savory options, though when cups or mugs ran out, replacements were slow to arrive and we had to wait. There are a few rules, probably because many guests are families with kids. The sea is about 500 meters away as the crow flies, so it's a good base if you plan to spend the day at the beach.

We spent two lovely weeks here, just steps from the sea, and it's hard to leave after being made to feel like family. The staff greeted us with a smile all day long. Thank you, Lidise, Alina, and Ramona! The rooms were clean, the food was good, and the services were excellent. We're heading home a few pounds heavier, and already hoping to come back for another stay. Highly recommended.

We came away with such a good impression that we've decided to return, even though we usually change hotels every time. The Pasini family and the whole team gave us genuine Romagna hospitality, the kind that's hard to find now. Everyone was professional, discreet and never intrusive. The owners were always there to support a strong, united staff, and the place had a really positive energy. The children's play areas were lovely, as was the pool. The hot showers by the pool and at the beach were much appreciated by the little ones. Roberto and his family ran an excellent beach club and made us feel at home, always kind and smiling. Gatteo is just nearby, and the bikes were great, with quality child seats. We also loved getting tickets to the Cesenatico museum. The food and dining setup were outstanding. The chef's work was at a level that's hard to find, supported by smart planning and top-quality ingredients and resources. The dining room was beautifully and carefully set, with plenty of space between tables. Though it was small to medium-sized, we could eat in a relaxed atmosphere. We were especially impressed with Martina. She seemed to do twice as much as everyone else, moved at an amazing pace and adapted to every situation. With our small children, she always managed her time so well. Our room was roomy enough, very clean, and had well-made furniture. The sturdy doors kept outside noise out effectively. The maintenance man covered the broken terrace tiles with green carpet, so we didn't have to worry about the children getting hurt and could let them use the space. Even the toilet paper was good quality. As our grandparents used to say, 'He who spends more, spends less.' So true. We rested well thanks to all the services. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and always had a smile or a kind word. Thanks for providing a fridge, which was perfect for the children's things, especially for freezing the toothfish. The young entertainment team was cheerful, welcoming and talented. Samu and Veronica stood out for their many ideas and the way they interacted with adults and children. They were always ready to help and find solutions. We hope to see them again next year. We look forward to holidays all year, and this stay went beyond what we expected. I chose this hotel after reading the reviews, and it turned out even better than I expected. The rooms were spot on, with no extras but everything needed: air conditioning, ceiling fans, a window in the bathroom, a roomy shower and a large balcony with clotheslines. Everywhere was extremely clean, the staff were very friendly, and the food was excellent with lots of different choices. Recommended!
