Kerschbamerhof

Those farm animals, especially Kira and Speedy, made the stay even more memorable, and the Kerschbamerhof family were just lovely. We’ve rarely met people so warm and welcoming. The apartment was fantastic, had everything we needed, and was impeccably clean. We made such beautiful memories there, and I honestly think this will be an unforgettable vacation. We felt so at home that we’re sure to come back. Karin, Markus and the family, many greetings! The apartment had three bedrooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms and two balconies, and the pool was lovely. It’s very peaceful here, with no road traffic, just the usual sounds of a working farm. Super hosts!

We really enjoyed the stay. The surroundings are lovely, and hiking is manageable, though plenty of routes involve going uphill and down again. The place itself is small and cozy, with four apartments, a pool, parasols and sunbeds. Everything is tidy and clean, and it’s clear the owners put a lot of love into it. They’re very kind and helpful, and sell delicious homemade products. The views are fantastic. Just keep in mind it sits at 850 m, so the drive up is quite a climb. Our 1.2 engine struggled with a heavily loaded car. We drove back via the Flüela Pass at 2383 meters, a stunning route through Switzerland that was manageable even with our 1.2 engine 😉.

We felt completely at ease at the Kerschbamerhof, and would love to come back. Karin is a friendly hostess who’s always ready to help. You can head out hiking straight from the front door, then cool off in the pool or relax in the whirlpool. In the evening, there are local wine taverns, or you can cook and eat outside under the vines with a glass of the farm’s own wine. It’s a wonderful spot for anyone who enjoys peace, plenty of nature and a breathtaking outlook over the Adige Valley and Trudner Horn National Park.
