Hotel Globus

We really enjoyed our family week here. Calling it a family hotel isn't just promotion: there are activities for little ones and grown-ups alike. The large, clean room was regularly tidied, and we had a big balcony with a sea view. There are 3 pools with different features, the sea is very close, and parking and beach service are available. The food was great, from breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon alongside the Italian sweet options to varied lunches and dinners with plenty of vegetables, including 2 thematic dinners. Adults and children had activities too. The animations were in Italian, but foreigners were invited to join, and unforgettable enthusiastics Vincenzo and his ladies ran them. The staff were absolutely lovely and warm everywhere, all the time. We can only recommend this hotel to families. Grazie mille Scuderia Costa Vacanze !!! Lukas and family :-)

We keep coming back because this place suits us so well, and the value for money is excellent. The staff are very friendly, and the food at lunch and dinner is plentiful and really good. Even our picky child always found something to eat. Breakfast is simple and sweet, as is typical in Italy. It's only a few minutes' walk to the beach, though the hotel sits a little way back from the shore. The building is older, but they renovate it every year. Rooms with a partial sea view can get noisy in the evening, since the mini-disco and entertainment take place on the terrace below. Rooms at the back are quieter, but look onto an abandoned hotel instead of having that view. The family rooms with connecting doors have very small bathrooms, especially the shower, which is much too tight for larger people. A standard room has a roomier shower. If you expect a lot, this probably won't be the place for you, but it works perfectly for us.
