Hotel Lalla Beauty & Relax Villa Orly

The hotel is very close to the beach, and it's about a 15-minute walk to the centre. We found the rooms clean and the spa okay. Breakfast was good, with a few different options, including some gluten-free choices. The staff at breakfast were really friendly and helpful.

I had a terrible stay and wouldn't recommend this place. The power was out for most of a day, leaving my room hot while my phone was dying. I left five days early, partly because they couldn't run my card without electricity, but got no refund or even an apology. They still charged me 40 euros for two lunch services, which felt overpriced for what they offered. Instead of waiving that fee as a kind gesture, they took my card number to charge it. My balcony was blocked off, and I avoided asking the front desk questions because the receptionist was rude, impatient, and got aggravated whenever I spoke to him. They advertise bilingual English-speaking staff, but most people, including him, didn't speak English. The WiFi also failed about half the time. The bartender was kind, helpful, and spoke English, and the wait staff were nice. The place is pretty, the pool is cute, and my room was clean, but I still wouldn't stay again.

The staff were quite friendly and breakfast was good, but the hotel didn't live up to what I expected from the photos. The pool felt too small and crowded. My room in villa Orly wasn't as clean as I'd expect from a three-star hotel: the curtains were dirty, and the doors and handles had makeup and fingerprints on them, so they didn't seem sanitized at all. They should accept cashless payments whatever the amount, which matters for international travelers and is also another measure against the spread of covid19.

The hotel is in an amazing location and was clean. The rooms are small but cozy. We didn't try the spa, though it looked nice. The sound insulation was really poor and woke us up early.
