We felt right at home here, dog included. The hotel is pet-friendly and made all of us welcome. It’s also great for families: our kids loved the activities and the safe, friendly setting. There was lots of tasty food to choose from, and the staff were so kind and helpful, always smiling and ready to lend a hand. We had a great time and will definitely return. I’d recommend it to anyone traveling with children or pets.

The price didn’t feel justified. This was a group trip mainly for excursions to Italian cities, and our group filled almost the whole hotel. New guests arrived near the end of our visit. My mother and I were given the “v.i.p” room, which meant being on the same floor as our group leader. To get to the fourth floor, we had to use a key, or the elevator door wouldn’t open. I stayed here in August 2019. There were some good points. The hotel was very clean, and if you put a towel on the floor, they replaced it with a fresh one. The staff were friendly and positive. Our group arrived in the middle of the night, at 1 p.m, and they still greeted us in the dining area with a light meal of aubergine in tomato sauce and cheese. When I asked for a hairdryer, they were happy to give me one, since we were the only ones without one in the room. The beach was about a 10-minute walk away. Our room had air conditioning, controlled from outside the room, which helped keep mosquitoes away. It was spacious, with four beds. The room had a sloping ceiling, so I had to bend over much of the time. Before I figured out I needed to keep doing that, I hit my head on it several times. It was rough stone, and my hair got caught in it more than once. I’m 174cm tall. The shower cubicle was so low I was taller than it, and showering and washing my hair were uncomfortable. It was too small to bend in, so if you dropped something you had to crouch. There was nowhere in the bathroom for toiletries, so I put mine where the towel goes. The toilet seat shifted when I sat on it, so I had to be careful not to move. The beds felt a bit hard at first, though I got used to them, or was just too tired to care. There was no chair in the room, and unlocking and opening the door with the key was awkward. Breakfast and dinner were included. Dinner came with a starter, main, and dessert, but the food quality varied a lot. You could choose between two starters and two mains, while the hotel chose the dessert. One evening the starter, pasta with lemon and cream, was great, but the main was awful: pork chops pounded until they looked like schnitzel, with red wine sauce. I once had a nice piece of chicken, but it was pink at the end. My mother and two friends were served pasta with its cooking water, called Minestrone soup. The vegetable buffet was okay, and wine and still or sparkling water were included. The desserts were surprisingly nice. Breakfast seemed continental despite the number of options. There were two kinds of bread, both white: one tasted like paper, and the other was only good toasted. If you went early, the scrambled eggs were good. I mostly chose the sweet options, croissants, two kinds of cake, biscuits, and different yoghurts. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and two juices came from machines and were all okay. The bartender had trouble following directions and making drinks, so for alcohol I’d stick with something like Baileys. Wi-Fi was strongest in the dining room, garden, and foyer, and very slow in the bedrooms. I’m allergic to mosquitoes, and there were a lot of them in the dining room and garden. The hotel was advertised as three-star, but to me it wasn’t worth that, more like one or two stars at best.

Small, calm, and clean. It’s comfortable for families and nice for kids, with the beach just a two-minute walk away. The staff were friendly, and the cook does his best to give guests a taste of Italian food.

The rooms are a little small, but I have some of my best memories from this place ❤️

The rooms were fairly comfortable and the food tasted good. The location was okay. The staff were pretty harsh, unfortunately, and they seem to have a bit of trouble with drunk tourists.
