Hotel Jole

The staff were friendly, the waiters attentive, and our room was cleaned daily. It had a small fridge, working air conditioning, and good Wi-Fi. We stayed for nine nights, though I'm not sure why the booking is now marked as cancelled. We'd booked a balcony room but were given one without a balcony. It was one of the cheapest choices, in a quiet area and around a 10-minute walk from the beach. We found free parking near the hotel, and the self check-in link made arrival easy. They charge extra if you want to check in in person. Breakfast was the same each morning, with mostly sweets, salami, ham and prosciutto, and one cheese. There was no variety or vegetables. A friend travelling with us has gluten and lactose intolerance, and the special menu cost an extra 10 euros but was basically an omelette. That didn't feel worth the price. Maybe some people are hard to satisfy, but it was impossible to have a low-carb or carb-free breakfast.

Hotel Jole is very close to the beach, and the whole place was clean and full of natural light. We stayed four nights and it was one of the best places I've stayed in Italy. Breakfast had a great selection of cakes, pastries, juices, fruit, and other drinks. They'll also make scrambled eggs if you ask. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Most were young, but competent and ready to help. You can hire bikes there for free. We'll definitely return to Hotel Jole.

We booked during an event weekend and paid over €120 a night, which really doesn't seem fair for this kind of place. Around €50 per night would be reasonable. It's a basic hotel with okay amenities and a good location. Breakfast is basic too.
