Campo di Cielo

The vegan food alone is worth booking dinner for, even if you can’t stay overnight. I’m picky about good food, and every dish was delicious. They even adapted everything for my allergies and intolerances. The photos really don’t capture it, and the flavors were unlike anything I’d had before. The garden felt like a fairytale, with rabbits hopping around, peacocks, chickens, a rooster, and a friendly turkey. The owners’ dogs and cats were happy to get attention, too. The people were incredibly friendly and patient with our stumbling Italian. They tried speaking French and English, and even a little Italian from us went a long way. If you’re hesitating, don’t. We can’t recommend this place enough.

The homemade food was delicious, and there are lots of different animals to keep you company. The staff are friendly, and the clean building is cared for in every detail. It’s an amazing, relaxing vegan agriturismo. Absolutely recommend it.

After trekking in the Dolomites, we were glad to unwind in the garden hammocks with relaxing music and a friendly atmosphere. Our spacious, all-wood en-suite room was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had excellent facilities. Renzo welcomed us as soon as we arrived, showed us around, and made us feel at home. We’d found Campo di Cielo on Happy Cow and happily adjusted our itinerary to spend time there. Getting there without a car was easy, with a 30-minute walk from the nearest bus stop and train station. The meals were a highlight. Renzo and Teresa cooked everything themselves, using ingredients from their own garden. Dinner and lunch each had six original, outstanding courses, and breakfast was buffet style. We’re still thinking about Renzo’s vegan pancakes with cream. The four-legged family members wandering the garden rounded out the stay. Renzo and Teresa have put so much effort into making Campo di Cielo memorable. We highly recommend it as a restaurant and a place to stay, for vegans and non-vegans alike.

I fell in love with this place. The rooms were really comfortable and clean, and the location was wonderful. Fantastic food, too!
