A car is probably best since the place sits outside the town center. Still, it was a perfect stop while traveling through Italy. Egidio was kind and always ready to help, and both the room and bathroom were spotless. Breakfast was simple and tasty, with choices made the evening before.

Egidio and his family made us feel very welcome on our Via Francigena walk, and they know the route well. They even have their own stamp. Our room was lovely, the bathroom was excellent, and breakfast was very good. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for them.

After a tougher mountain section of the Via Francigena, four of us were glad to find this place so close to the trail. The apartment was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully organized. We sat on the little balcony with drinks and enjoyed the views. Our hosts were friendly and made sure we were comfortable. Best place we've stayed on the route so far, and great value.

The back terrace has a wonderful view, and the B&B is spotless and carefully kept. We stopped at B&B Au Coin du Château on the way from Switzerland to San Remo.
