Clarascum

Cherasco is a beautiful village that feels frozen in another era, with a magical atmosphere. The B&B is original and charming, and early morning air carried lovely scents from the Piedmontese vegetation. The property itself is truly beautiful, but the welcome was terrible. Things were fine until the owner, “NICLA,” arrived looking furious and told us, “There’s no breakfast for you this morning... it’s already a lot that I gave you a bed last night.” She was rude because she thought we’d arrived too late the night before, even though our married relatives had already arranged and paid for the stay as a kind gift. Mrs. Nicla, it was quite an experience to meet some Piedmontese people’s hospitality, though luckily they aren’t all like you. Not recommended at all. Rating 2.

My room couldn’t have been better, everything was perfect. It looks out over the bastions of Cherasco, a lovely view for a morning walk, with the Landes region in view. There’s parking, no car traffic, and it’s quiet and peaceful, even though the noisy town square is only a four-minute walk away. Superb!

The breakfast was generous, and the location worked really well. We also got a warm welcome and found the facilities excellent. I'd gladly recommend it.

The owners were so welcoming, and the service was first-rate. We had an excellent stay.
