Hotel Il Campanile

We liked the reception and restaurant staff from the start. But the breakfast was really poor, especially after reading earlier reviews praising it. I thought there might be a few options for international guests. Instead, the sparse table was a bit like that “expectation and reality” video: yogurt, bread, a piece of cheese... No comments!

We stayed one night on the way to the Rivièra. Our room on the second floor was clean and comfortable, and it was quiet at night. The hotel is close to the highway, and Bra is about 10 minutes away for dinner. After we left, we saw on the website that the hotel also serves “fine” plates. The small pool and roof terrace are nice assets, and it seems popular with Italian families. Ricardo, the friendly owner, also serves a good breakfast.

The old church hotel has a cool history. I spent five days at ill Campanile. There was a spider web in the room, maybe that's part of the place :( There's a dog that looks like it wants to eat you if nobody's at reception to help you back in or get the key :D I had lots of dogs as a child, all kinds, but you'll see this one when you visit because it's part of the hotel, along with a fat cat :) Those animals are nice when they get attention and a little home training. Breakfast was the same every morning :) Best regards.

The hotel is really pretty, with a beautiful garden, and breakfast was lovely. But the photos make it look more central than it is. The rooms are very tiny and could use some work. For the price, I suppose it wasn't too bad overall.
