8/10
A clean, comfortable base at a reasonable price for exploring the medieval towns and countryside in Siena's province. The staff are kind and helpful. Getting to the hotel isn't especially easy, but it does what it says on the tin.

The room was new, with a nice shower, and the people were lovely. Great service.

It's away from the city center, but the breakfast was good. There's also a swimming pool and plenty of parking.

4/10
The room had an unpleasant odor, and it wasn't as clean as I'd expected.

The croissants were flaky and really good. Breakfast leaned heavily toward sweets, with little salty food, and there wasn't a huge selection. The room was clean and the staff friendly. The main annoyance was doors banging loudly, which I put down to people being inconsiderate. It's cheap, so fine for a quick getaway.
