Podere La Cava

We stayed in Beatrice House, which occupies the top three floors. The restored farmhouse has three rentals available, with at least two inside the main building. The sunrise from the covered balcony on the third floor was amazing, with views across the valley and mountains in the distance, so have your camera or phone ready. That bedroom is up a somewhat challenging staircase, but the view makes it worthwhile. There are also several places outside to sit and relax, plus a grill and picnic table. A washing machine is tucked under the ground-floor stairs, and we made good use of the EV charging station in the spacious parking area, which fits about four cars and was free to use. The driveway gate is locked and opens with a remote you get on arrival, which made us feel safe. Entry to the house is up outside stairs to a covered porch with chairs and a small table. Inside, there's a large dining room with space for six, and a small but practical kitchen with a table for four. The appliances are fairly new, including a dishwasher. Upstairs on the second floor are two spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, reached through the sitting room between them. To get in, we used the lockbox, where all our keys were kept. We received the code before arriving. This is a lovely farmhouse getaway in Tuscany!
