I only ended up there by chance, but what a lovely family I found. It brought back the feeling of visiting my grandparents as a child, safe and at ease in a quiet place with good food and privacy. The people, wine and meals were all lovely. I usually had breakfast very early, around 4:30-5:00 local time. On the first morning I asked for coffee, and they brought hot buns to have with breakfast too. Such a memorable experience.

The restaurant is well worth a try, with really good food, and the outdoor dining area must be lovely in summer and probably in spring too. It’s a calm place to enjoy some peace and quiet, with management and staff who are all top-notch.

We had a wonderful 7 days with such kind, welcoming people. The owners and staff put their hearts into their work, and everything was very clean, with a lovely view. The food was delicious and affordable, and it worked well for both families and couples. They really made our stay special. Thank you, Mrs. Simona and family ♥️

We stayed at antica stazione for 3 nights and had a lovely time. Simona and her family were polite, helpful, and well organized, and the staff made us feel welcome from the start. It’s a family-run place that does things really well, with good value, tasty food at fair prices, and a beautiful room and setting. We were grateful that our medium-sized dog could stay with us. The place is pet friendly, and he loved the garden and surroundings. I’d gladly recommend it to friends and family, and hope to come back. Well done!

Breakfast was generous, and the young woman of the house was incredibly helpful. This well-run family business can also host larger events and has a children’s playground and a pool. It sits atop a lovely, windy hill. Nearby, Cava Misericordia makes for a beautiful hike, with hardly anyone around.
