The rooms are clean, cosy and comfortable, and the pool is a nice extra. This quiet locanda has an old fashioned charm and a fantastic view. The food and wine are delicious, including wine and olive oil made here. It also looks like a great spot for events.

The wine and food were the best we tried in Sicily, and they were one of the main reasons we picked this place. We held our wedding at this beautiful vineyard, and the setting and scenery were perfect. From the beginning, the manager and head chef were wonderful to work with and did so much to help everything go smoothly. The whole team was professional, kind, and incredibly helpful on the day. Thank you for making it the best night of our lives. We highly recommend it for a wedding, a peaceful getaway, or just a good meal.

The standout for us was the service. The manager checked us into our room, served us in the restaurant, and showed us around the winery, all with real professionalism. Chefs Giuseppe and Matteo were attentive to what guests liked. Even on a weekday when ours was the only table booked, they kept the restaurant open just for us, saying we had planned to come. Locanda Gulfi is recommended by the Michelin Guide of Italy, and we’d definitely suggest trying the menu. Gulfi is tucked away, with vineyards around the pool and peace and quiet all around. After long walks in the Sicilian heat, we’d cool off in the pool and order wine and snacks. It officially closes at 6 or 7 in the evening, but we found we could stay until dark without anyone objecting. You can also arrange a private winery tour with a personal tasting and buy wines. The building is pleasant and well kept. Breakfast included cold cuts, cheese, fresh and dried fruit and vegetables, yoghurt, cereal, and fresh cannoli. Coffee was served separately. Each morning there were juices, champagne, Gulfi wine, and bottled water in an ice bucket, so you could even have a glass of wine early in the day. We loved our stay at Gulfi during our trip to Sicily. We’ll definitely come back.

The breakfast was high quality, with a good selection that suited us better than having lots of different options. Food was excellent, and we enjoyed the winery's wine and olive oil too. Paolo, Andrea, and the rest of the team were friendly and professional. We can happily recommend this beautiful place and hope we get to return soon.
