The chef clearly cares about what he does, and the service was exceptional. We chose his tasting menu, which followed an autumn theme, with pumpkins decorating the tables. The starters were creative and tasty, with colorful dishes and different autumn touches. There was a wonderful platter of meats, then great main courses in truly huge portions. The desserts were mouthwatering. A fantastic dining experience!

The host was friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The food was amazing, and for a restaurant in that price range, I’ve rarely seen a wine list so extensive and thoughtfully put together. Our best meal on Lago Maggiore.

We stayed overnight in one of the clean, comfortable rooms, and the balcony had a great lake view. We also had dinner and loved the experience, with delicious food, great service, and a lovely view. Highly recommend the restaurant and a stay here.

The owner-chef tells a story with every dish, both in the way it’s presented and in what he says about it. He’s a master of his craft, and the whole meal was such fun. Fantastic food, wine, atmosphere, and service. Enjoy!
