The manager made the stay difficult. They were grumpy, unwelcoming, and not helpful at all. The accommodation itself was very nice, though, with clean rooms, a great little kitchen addition, and an excellent ensuite.

The rooms were spacious and well kept, and the bathroom was large and clean. The beds were comfortable too. We stopped here to break up our drive south and spend an evening in Ancona, and it worked out more than perfectly for what we needed. We had a triple room made up of two rooms. A great experience.

The soundproofing could be better. Voices and bathroom noises from neighboring rooms carry clearly. The room itself was very clean, the furnishings were flawless, and the bed was comfortable.

Being close to the train station was probably the only good thing. I've traveled a lot, but I've never had such an unpleasant welcome. Reception was closed when we arrived, and we could hear a voice without knowing where it was coming from. After a few minutes, we worked out it was coming from the bar area. Communication was poor and inelegant, and they treated us as if we were close friends while being extremely rude. The rooms were dumpy, the views were terrible, and there was no shampoo. Everything was awful. There was also the tax evasion issue. A friend asked for two bottles of water and they refused, saying, "it's not worth it for me." They didn't offer them or try to find another solution. A hostel would be much better. I'd give it zero stars if I could.
