The room had a lovely terrace view, and we liked the wellness facilities, including the jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and infrared room. The bar was cosy, and service was very good overall. It clearly feels like a family-run place. The room itself was very good, but it stayed far too hot, even after we switched the heating off. Breakfast was basic and unchanged all week, and dinner was basic too, which I personally found disappointing. On our last day they gave us a large room for our luggage so we could ski and leave in the evening, plus access to a large shower room. The downside was that it was a shared shower with no privacy, like at a sports club. When we asked for towels, they initially didn't want to provide any. We needed them since we were staying at a hotel and didn't have our own. They did eventually give us towels, but tried to charge extra, and we declined. Still, it was a good experience overall.

A clean place with good homemade food. The back balcony has an amazing river and mountain view, and there's a nice jacuzzi and other facilities. It's well located for cycling, walking, and exploring. You can borrow a bike from the hotel and ride along the river.

Breakfasts were great and the rooms were clean. The beds felt hard, there was no AC in the rooms, and there weren't many coat hangers. Nice place overall.

Friendly, helpful staff and good value for the money. It's a nice hotel, though breakfast could use a little more choice.

The owner or manager was rude, seemed to hate children, and didn't like taking card payments, though cash was welcome. I suspect she hates the taxman too.
