We had room 3 with a balcony and sea view, and it was lovely. The room was very clean, the staff incredibly friendly, and breakfast was good. There’s a bus stop right on the main road, and the town center is an easy walk away.

I wouldn’t recommend Maison Butera for the price. I paid €140 a night as a solo guest, but couldn’t eat breakfast because I had to leave at 8:00 AM and the breakfast attendant, Nuccia, always arrived later. For just a few euros more, you can find rooms at nearby 4-star hotels with staff ready to help and excellent Sicilian breakfasts. I didn’t feel I got my money’s worth.

We were in room 3, which has a small balcony overlooking the harbor. The sunrise from there was beautiful. The place is furnished very nicely, and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

The lady was very kind, and I understand the effort managers put into giving good service and making ends meet. Still, the price felt too high for furnishings that seemed super cheap, and the building didn’t help.
