Best Western Hotel Principe di Lampedusa

The room was large and clean, the shower decent, and the Wi-Fi worked well. It’s central, and the front desk staff really do try to help. But the thermostat didn’t seem to work, and my room was quite warm. Nights were VERY loud. I was woken up on two nights by drunk people yelling arguments in the plaza, so bring earplugs or noise-canceling headphones. You only get one towel at a time, which wasn’t great in 36c heat when I wanted to shower twice a day. The hotel’s policies are odd too. As a non-EU resident, I had a really hard time getting an invoice to confirm my stay, which seemed unusual for an internationally branded hotel. The front desk tried to help, but it seems they aren’t set up for international business travelers.

The rooms were spotless, with cleaning done every day, and the staff were kind and ready to help. It's right in the city center, close to the sights. I'd happily come back.

Valentina made us feel so welcome, and the rest of the staff were lovely and helpful too. Our room was roomy and had everything we needed, and housekeeping did a fantastic job. We had a wonderful stay 🙌🏽

We found the room spacious and comfortable, and breakfast had plenty to choose from, both sweet and savory. The staff were welcoming, and the hotel feels new and modern. It's right in the heart of Palermo, within walking distance of the main sights, with lots of good markets and restaurants nearby. The air conditioning wasn't especially strong. That was fine during our spring visit, though it could be more of a problem in summer.
