Casa Jose'

The pool was large, clean, and lovely, with a fantastic view toward the area between the sea and pool. We had a delightful family stay in a beautiful, fairly luxurious apartment with all the comforts we needed. The holiday home is just steps from Palermo’s historic centre and the port. We highly recommend it and will be back!

The nearby bus stops were a big plus. We had a wonderful stay in spacious, clean accommodation, and the pool and garden were lovely. Great experience!

The accommodation was spacious and nicely styled, with modern touches, exposed stone, and good decor. We enjoyed the sea view, the warm welcome, and the supplies provided, including dishes, salt, pepper, toilet paper, sheets, towels, and dish soap. Parking was available on the property, and the garden gave the children room to play. Public transport was close, and the host shared practical information. There were some disappointments. The listing mentioned a washing machine, but there wasn’t one; we were allowed to use the hosts’ laundry facilities, which wasn’t what we’d originally agreed. Parking cost €10 a day, and the pool wasn’t available until mid-May. There was daytime noise from a barking dog, an ambulance siren because of the nearby hospital, and car horns on the busy street. The listing also didn’t say that swimming wasn’t allowed at the beach access. The location felt far from everything, with no neighborhood life. Without the pool or swimming in the sea, there wasn’t much to do.

The bus stop for the city center is right outside, making it quick and easy to get into town. We stayed for 6 nights and were thrilled with how clean and comfortable everything was. The Wi-Fi was very fast, which worked perfectly for travel with work. We especially liked that the accommodation was spread over two floors, and it had a modern bathroom and kitchen utensils. We came in January, so couldn’t use a balcony or garden, but we’d definitely return. Thanks for a great stay :)
