We only stayed one night while driving through Chieti, but the huge room with a bath felt luxurious, and the price was exceptionally good for what we got. The hosts were incredibly friendly. They booked us a table at the little Trattoria around the corner and suggested dishes, and every recommendation was spot on. It’s on the top floor with no lift, so pack light.

A superhost and a delicious breakfast with lovely local specialties. The large rooms are beautifully decorated, with antique furniture and silk wallpaper, and the suite bathroom is amazing. It felt like a fairytale, absolutely worth a stay!

The owners made our stay especially memorable with how kind and helpful they were. We also loved the breakfast, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The rooms had plenty of space, and the location was ideal for exploring the historic center. We stayed five nights and would happily come back.
