We had a comfortable bed, interesting furnishings, and really warm hospitality from Miss Anna. Our room opened onto a lovely pool, with a 180-degree view outside. This agricultural tourist hotel is up in the hills above Pescara. We enjoyed a nice three-course dinner and a good breakfast the next morning.

The owner was very welcoming and spoke English really well. We stayed four nights in a bed and breakfast apartment overlooking the Chieti valley, with mountains behind it. It was quite idyllic. Dinner was available each evening for an extra cost, and well worth it. Her regional cooking and the wine were excellent after a day touring the beautiful countryside. I'd suggest calling directly to confirm the reservation.

We had a great stay at il Quadrifoglio and will be back. The setting is beautiful, the staff are friendly, the location is nice, and the food was good. I was there at the same time as Alessandro, who left a very bad review, and honestly, I'm surprised by how different our experiences were. The garden is lovely, even though the lawn isn't trimmed, which isn't what it's meant to be. Breakfast was fine, with jam and cereal available as well as bread and butter. Dinner was also fine and fairly priced. A set menu is common at agriturismos, though I'm not sure how many Alessandro has visited.

The view was amazing, but that's about all I liked. When we arrived, the host was 'cooking' and didn't have time to greet us. Our room was dirty, with hairs in the bathroom, and we could hear other guests snoring in the other apartment. The food was awful and definitely not worth €15 per person. Instead of fresh pasta, we got supermarket farfalle with a nasty red sauce that didn't taste fresh, plus hard bread. Then came meat we couldn't identify, so we left it uneaten. The tomatoes were okay. Since we hadn't eaten the meat, they offered us cheese, but it had mold on it, so we didn't eat that either. Breakfast was cookies, toasted white bread, and low-quality jam, with fruit that wasn't fresh. This wasn't the agriturismo we expected, if it even counts as one. I wouldn't return.
