Forte Village Resort - Il Castello

Le dune restaurant felt magical, with incredible food, especially the best fish ever. They made our two children, aged 3 and 8, so welcome that we could enjoy the five-star dining experience together. We were so well looked after by the friendly staff. Valentina went above and beyond to make our stay special, and Filippo was such a gentleman, always making us feel extra special. I didn't catch the names of the other staff, but everyone was wonderful. We knew this place was going to be special when we booked, but it still exceeded our expectations. It's absolutely perfect, and we'll definitely return. If you want a luxury holiday with children, this is the place! :)

The resort is nicely laid out, with good sports facilities, and the rooms are spacious and very clean. The app was useful for finding things to do and see around the property. I would have expected tea and coffee in the room as standard, along with water replenished each day, at a five-star hotel. Dining choices also felt limited. When I tried to book dinner, the options were the buffet at €85pp or a set menu at €100pp, and I was told these had to be arranged before arrival. Beechcomber has a lovely seaside spot for lunch, but it wasn't open in the evening. There are lots of bars and cocktail places, though not many actual dining options. One evening I ordered room service and waited more than an hour and a half before cancelling because it was too late. I later found out there was a bar menu in the hotel lobby that would've been ideal for a quick bite. When I asked staff about dinner options, they hadn't mentioned it.

Meals were a highlight, all fresh and creative, with the best of Sardinian and Italian cooking. Our room was beautifully designed and comfortable, with stunning views. Hotel Castello's lush gardens, clear water, and private stretch of beach made the setting feel like paradise. From arrival, the service was warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. The atmosphere managed to be peaceful and lively at once, with room for both relaxing and exploring. Whether at the spa or pools or just walking around the resort, everything felt five-star and beyond. Hotel Castello is a luxurious, welcoming gem in Sardinia, and the stay was unforgettable. The children loved the creative, varied daily activities, and they had a fantastic time while we got to fully relax. The beach was stunning, too. At the Hotel Castello Garden @Forte Village, our room was bright and spacious, with two private gardens that gave us a rare feeling of privacy and peace. Everything was spotless, with care taken over every detail. Each meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. Valentina and the whole team made us feel cared for from the moment we arrived.
