La Noce Bed And Breakfast

The people were genuinely great, and you can tell they care about their work, but there’s a lot they could improve. We paid €900 for four nights, and breakfast was disappointing: packaged snacks and capsule coffee that was practically water. There were cobwebs near the ceilings, and we found the place a bit dirty. Lizards kept getting into the house, which may come with being in the countryside. The posted rule said towels would be changed every three days, but that never happened. Another issue was the man coming in during the morning to leave breakfast while we were still asleep. Their little dog and their beloved children were the only positives for us.

Very clean, with kind and welcoming staff, and the place felt safe and peaceful. It had all the essential comforts. The only catch was that I didn't get breakfast, and I don't know why. I'd recommend it, but maybe check with the owner about breakfast.

The shared bathrooms were a problem for us, especially since they were far from the rooms and you had to walk through the breakfast room and lobby to reach them. There was no privacy. When we arrived, nobody came to welcome us; we got directions by phone instead. The room was small for two adults and a child, and the bed wasn't the king-sized double advertised on the website. The TV had no signal, and we couldn't get the Wi-Fi working despite having the Fastweb line and password, and a Linked network. The lobby was dirty and the outside looked generally unkempt. Breakfast was very poor, with very little and no water or milk, just the basics missing. There was cereal, but without milk it was only for show.

I was there for one night for eye surgery, and the hospital was easy to get to. The owner was polite and helpful. It’s clean and comfortable, and I slept well because it’s away from a busy road. For dinner, it’s easy to drive a short way up the street into town. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.
