I spent almost €1,000 on my graduation celebration, and the experience was a complete disappointment. There were 30 of us, and everyone came away with the same negative impression. The organization was terrible and the management shoddy. They put us in a small room without telling me that staff would be coming and going all evening, carrying dirty plates and trays from other rooms. I should have been told beforehand so I could decide whether to accept that. We had agreed on an enhanced buffet alternative, which cost more than the traditional option, but what arrived was a very poor buffet that the venue tried to call an “aperitivo.” That’s not the enhanced buffet we had agreed on. My guests were left hungry. When I raised it, I was rudely asked, “What do you expect for €35 a person? You can’t even eat a pizza for that money.” At a pizzeria, €35 would have covered food, drinks, dessert, and coffee, and we’d have left satisfied. Agreements were broken, the quality was questionable, and there was no professionalism. I don’t recommend it.

The Halloween decorations made the venue look lovely, themed, and atmospheric. The ground floor was set aside for children and the first floor for adults. But the food was very poor, and service felt rushed. Dessert cost extra on top of the €35 menu, and it was inedible, obscene: three dry ladyfingers with no coffee, some kind of mascarpone cream, and red stuff smeared over it. Maybe it was meant to fit the Halloween theme. A horror dinner indeed. :-)

The dishes we ended up choosing were a delightful surprise, thoughtfully made, with balanced flavours and generous portions. We started off on the wrong foot because, for technical reasons and with good reason, the menu didn’t include the thing I wanted. Nadia and all her staff handled it expertly. The place is charming. I’ll save the fifth star for next time, when I hope to try your signature dish, the crudo ❤️

We found the restaurant on “The Fork” and went after a day at the beach. The building is a little run-down, even though it’s only a few hundred metres from the Romea, and I think it could use some updating. Still, the food was really good and excellent quality for a more than fair price. For four of us, €115 covered two dishes each, two waters, half a litre of wine, and three coffees. The woman who served us and talked us through the dishes was a wonderful host. We’ll come back and recommend it. *Rooms = Furnishings

We discovered a lovely place. The garden atrium felt almost magical, surrounded by greenery, with soft lighting and gentle music. A young woman welcomed us and made us feel comfortable. The food was delicious, with a superb blend of Veneto and Calabria and a touch of Sicily. The reworked dishes are interesting and worth trying, with options ranging from meat and fish to vegetarian.
