Camping Oasi

The reception staff are really friendly and speak English, German, and Italian. We spent two weeks here with our three small children, and everything was great. The campsite has its own pool, with one section for children and another for swimmers. It also has the area's largest private beach. The plots are close together, and there are lots of caravans staying on site, though the grounds are very spacious. I'd love to return next year.

There's a lot to like here, especially around the beach. It's nearby and has plenty of cool things, including a good restaurant and a proper beach club with really good food and drinks. It's beautiful by the lagoon on the right, and the beach is less crowded than the others. The pool is brand new, the food store is very good and well priced, and there's a good cafe. There's also a tennis court for 10 euro an hour, football for 20 euro, and basketball. Kids' entertainment runs every day, but only in Italian and until midnight. The camping itself gets one star from me, while the rest is worth five or six, so decide ahead of time. I'd say it's worth going, just not for the camping experience, and remember cash for the tourist tax. There are two access roads, one small and the other even smaller, so check them before you arrive. Inside, the roads to the pitches are very narrow and the pitches are around 50 M3. Much of the site looks like a refugee camp, with tents built over old caravans. There was no soap or toilet paper, which seemed very strange in 2021 during Corona times and made hygiene difficult with kids or adults. At night, the toilets had only blue lights, so it was hard to see. The chemical toilet disposal point is indoors, right beside the dishwashing area.

Someone drilled the lock while we were at the campsite and took all our cash, right in broad daylight. When we told reception, they didn't seem to care.

We couldn't understand why an older man opened the shower door while a woman was inside. If there had been an accident, a woman could have opened it. The lock may have failed by accident, but nothing happened. Camping Oasi is no place for a vacation, and I wouldn't recommend going there.
