Domus Clugiae

Signora Sandra at reception is the reason we had such a good time. She's the soul of the residence: kind, cheerful, helpful, open-minded, and ready to answer any question or do what she can to make guests comfortable. My experience with the manager/owner was very different and left a really negative impression, especially after what we'd read online. The breakfast staff also seemed a bit odd, with no smiles or interest. I noticed and heard other guests raising complaints at reception, which feels like a shame for a place with sooooooo much potential. The location is strategic, and we enjoyed the town's atmosphere. Our room was simply furnished but comfortable, and room service was above average. Breakfast on the first day was very limited compared with the next day, when we finally had a continental breakfast and a wide selection of seasonal homemade cakes. This wasn't our first time in Chioggia. I hope to return soon and would be open to giving Residence Domus Clugiae a second chance.

The location was amazing, the rooms were clean, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was high quality too. Incredible value for money, and I'd definitely come back.

A handy central spot in Chioggia, with the beach about 15 minutes away and good fish restaurants close by. The grocery shop and food market are just steps away. Management was very professional and the staff genuinely hospitable. My room was well equipped, and the cost for what you get is the best in the area. Definitely recommended.

A really good place to stay. The single room had plenty of space, a comfortable bed, a great shower, and even Aircon. Breakfast was brilliant, and the owners were the best part. I can't recommend it enough.
