I don’t see why some people post negative reviews. Everything is close and easy to get to, and staff across the resort are friendly and helpful. It’s a great place for a family holiday with kids. Highly recommend it!

The pools were a real highlight: lovely, crystal-clear water, an aqua park, music, and entertainment. There were evening shows and activities for children too. The village itself is lively and family-oriented, and the residences are set slightly apart, about a five-minute walk away. We especially enjoyed the resort with kids, though adults may want to look elsewhere. The beach was our biggest disappointment. Marine plants were there every day and the smell wasn’t pleasant, though this wasn’t the resort’s fault. The beaches themselves were clean and had lifeguards. Be sure to check the resort notes: sunbeds and an umbrella are included on just one beach, while you have to pay for them at the others. Our room didn’t match the pictures, and the furniture had some defects. The toilet wasn’t clean, so we had to ask for it to be cleaned again. Staff were very friendly and quick to answer questions, five stars for them.

There were plenty of sports facilities and booking them was easy. The small on-site supermarket was handy, the pool was clean, and beach beds cost €22 a day, with discounts for late arrivals. Renting SUPs and water bikes was fun. The restaurants served very good food, and most waiters were friendly. Thanks especially to Prince and Eddy for their great service. Still, service was uneven: one night we waited 25 minutes for drinks and an hour for food, and unlike other tables, we got no bread. The head waiter was unfriendly and tossed a plate onto our table without saying anything. We paid €2.50 per person for service, so that was disappointing. Our Bellagio Large accommodation was advertised for six, but felt small even for four. It was short on basic kitchenware, with only five glasses, plates, and sets of cutlery for six people. There were only pots for cooking. When we asked about a pan, staff rudely told us to buy one ourselves. We also found the single central shower and toilet block poorly maintained: several doors were off their hinges, lights stayed broken for a while, and the floors were dirty, with used tampons and pads left behind. There was just one shower per accommodation, so more and cleaner facilities would help. Lifeguards also often seemed distracted by their phones instead of watching the pool. We had booked five months ahead and asked to stay near friends who booked the same accommodation at the same time. That hadn’t been arranged when we arrived, even though other families were placed together. The Dutch website said towels could be rented, but that wasn’t possible on arrival. Check-out felt rushed, and a little more interest in how our stay went would have been nice. We also disliked that smoking and vaping were allowed in public areas like the beach and pool, which seems at odds with a family-friendly campsite. There are good facilities, fun activities, and tasty food here, but the size of the accommodation, service, cleanliness, and attention to detail left us disappointed. The site has potential, but needs better upkeep and customer care.

We enjoyed both of our family holidays at Isamar Holiday Village during summer 2025, and after a great first visit, we came back for a second. The staff were friendly and professional throughout, from reception to the restaurant. Lifeguards were attentive, which helped us feel comfortable while the kids were in the pools. There was a good range of sports and other activities, so we always had something to do. The pools are a major draw: the children’s areas have slides and water games, and there are separate pools for adults. The complex is well designed and fun for families. The pools intended for swimming can get crowded with people relaxing, though, which makes swimming laps difficult. Choose your mobile home carefully. The older types were quite worn, while the newer one we booked on our second visit was much more comfortable. The beach is typical of the Venetian lagoon, with a very gradual entry into the water, which is handy for children. The water isn’t clear, though, and I’ve been to nicer beaches on the other side of the lagoon. It works fine, but wasn’t a highlight for us. We had a good time overall and would consider returning.

There’s plenty to eat on site, and the Spar market has the things you might need, so we didn’t have to go out looking for dinner. The holiday village is huge but very well organised, with several types of mobile homes and a great choice of pools. Its location near Chioggia is handy, and Venice is easy to reach. The beach has grey sand and the water looks grey too, which may not suit everyone, but we had a great stay.
