La Conchiglia

The spot we got for our tent was perfect, and the whole campsite is clean and well cared for. It's a quiet, cozy place, close to the beach, restaurants, shops, and things for children to do. We visited in mid-September and liked everything about our stay at Camping La Conchiglia. Most of all, the staff were friendly and quick to help. After we left, I realized I'd forgotten some belongings there, including our favorite hats. They weren't expensive, so I didn't have much hope when I emailed to ask if they could mail them to me. I was very pleasantly surprised when they said they would. I'm really grateful to the campsite team, especially Elena Tiozzo. I absolutely recommend it, and I'm sure we'll stay there again.

The toilets and showers were okay and clean, and the site itself is well maintained. It's a small family-run camping area for campers, with houses to rent too. But while we were there, the permanent campers and owners held a party with karaoke, turning it into exactly the party atmosphere we hadn't expected from a small family place. At night, music from the nearby hotel complex carries over as well. Access to the beach costs about 16€ a day. The free beach gets very crowded, though the camping is connected to a private beach where you can get a discount.

I travel the world by bike, and this is just the sort of place I like to stay. It's family friendly, the staff are great, and it's close enough to everything while still being far enough from the mayhem. Charles Mulder 🇨🇦

The bungalows were fairly clean and the location was okay. But we had agreed on a rate of 65 EUR per night before the stay, then were charged another 35 EUR for the whole stay at the end, with no explanation or reason. Until the money is returned, I can't recommend this place.
