We really enjoyed the SPA. It’s beautiful, clean, and new.

We had three wonderful days. The food was delicious, the rooms were clean, and the bathrooms were new. The staff were fantastic, and we all loved the gray-haired gentleman who looked after us. Many thanks for finding my headset, that was a big gesture. Love you! From the 3 SNBoardars: legendary MONTY, SCHANC DOVID, and RADOVAN. RESPECT.

The rooms are cosy and nice after some refurbishment, and there’s a lovely new spa area. Staff are friendly, and the restaurant food is good. The hotel may have seen busier days, since the whole area gets few visitors in summer despite being a great place to visit. I’d recommend staying here for a few days if you want to hike in the nearby mountains.

The hotel seems fine for a single night, but I wouldn’t stay longer. It didn’t feel inviting, and there was no holiday feeling. The hotel and rooms are old, with dark hallways. The bathroom looked a little newer but was tiny. The pillows were so uncomfortable, hard like bricks. We put the “do not disturb” sign on the door, but room service still came in to make up the room. The front desk said they knock, and if no one answers, they go ahead. That’s not how it should work. If I put up that sign, I don’t want anyone knocking. The hotel needs to change this. The breakfast buffet was small and had little to offer, with no vegetables or fruit. The mustard was past its expiry date, which was May 2023, even though it was the end of July 2023. The wellness area looks nice in pictures, but costs an extra 25 Euro per person.
