Chiusi is a cool little town to explore, and the owner is super nice. The rooms are good, and the place is right next to the train station.

Never again! The room was tiny and dirty, with gray-black stains on the carpet that looked like it had never been cleaned. The bathroom was old, the shower cramped, the fixtures dated, and there was a sewer smell. There was no air conditioning, only ceiling fans that pushed around boiling hot air on hot days. A terrible experience.

We won’t be back. The room was extremely uncomfortable and the bathroom didn’t work. I don’t recommend it. Breakfast was awful too. It’s not worth 40 euros a night, and even that feels like too much.

The location is the only real plus, if you have a reason to be in Chiusi. Room 26 was so cramped that using the shower felt like being trapped in an aquarium, and the bidet was impossible to use without your legs going under the sink. The toilet was already dirty and unflushed when I arrived. The same setup seems to apply to the other rooms too. As soon as I opened the door, there was a heavy smell of mold, stale cigarette dust, and stuffiness. I could barely sleep there. If this is how you want to keep a public place running, good luck.
