Casa Lollobrigida

The small fridge was a nice bonus, and the rooms were nice. Public transport and the airport are both close by.

We loved staying at Lollobrogida and will definitely come back. Nunzia was lovely and helpful, and even offered coffee for the balcony, a nice spot to enjoy it in the morning. The flat had everything we needed: air conditioning, a comfortable bed, and a fully equipped kitchen. It was very clean, and the price was affordable, probably about half what you’d pay in Rome. There’s a good supermarket a few minutes away that’s open 24/7. The train station is very close, with trains to Rome Ternimi every few minutes. A ticket costs 1.5 Euro and the trip takes 15 minutes, so it’s easy to reach Rome’s tourist spots while coming back to a quiet place to sleep. For us, staying here worked much better than staying in Rome.

We had a huge delay getting in, but their shuttle still picked us up at the airport, and they even provided a baby bed when we asked. Everyone was kind and the service was excellent. Breakfast is mostly carbohydrates, though they do have ham, cheese and fruit. I’d have liked a bit more protein, maybe boiled eggs. The coffee was a real perk, good espresso and as much as you want.

The owner and his son were polite and very helpful. Trains to Termini run regularly, about every half an hour, so it’s a convenient affordable base near Rome. The ground floor apartment has been converted into four rooms and a reception area. I had a good time staying here.
