The two hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They were friendly and full of useful information, and the breakfast service was the best, with a panoramic view over Rapello. It felt like home, only better. The location is ideal if you want to explore the coast or simply spend time in town. I highly recommend staying here, and we'll be back for sure.

Breakfast in the beautiful garden was a real treat, with fresh focaccia, pastries, and fruit from the garden. The hosts took food allergies, intolerances, and preferences seriously, and were happy to provide what we wanted. They were also keen to hear our plans each day and offer tips and recommendations for places to visit. The bedroom and bathroom were cleaned regularly during our ten days, and we got fresh sheets and towels twice. When we arrived late, a lovely couple stayed up to welcome us. The apartment felt clean and inviting from the start. The station is just seconds away, which made day trips around the region easy. The beach is also only a few steps away through the city center. Our time in Rapallo wouldn't have been nearly as lovely without staying at il Girasole. Would recommend it every time, 5/5!

The train station is nearby, but we barely heard trains at night, and they didn't disturb us. The place is conveniently located for the city center and the sea. Our hosts were warm and friendly, and their suggestions for places to visit and eat were very good. Breakfast was tasty, with an amazing view over the city.

The place was spotless, and its location made it easy to reach the train station, city center, and sea. The owners are wonderful and welcoming, and gave us great itinerary suggestions.
