B&B Castello

The views from the windows and restaurant were amazing, and there was free parking behind the hotel. We stayed five nights as a couple in October, mainly because the location is so good for nearby hiking and walking routes. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with enough space. We could hear the bar from our room over the busier weekend, though weekdays were quiet. A family with two loud kids was in the room next door, but the staff were very friendly and helped us move to another room where we could barely hear them. Only one staff member spoke English, but everyone made an effort to communicate. The restaurant has a lovely setting and delicious, high-quality food, though it felt a little pricey compared with nearby places. Breakfast was good too, as long as we went down early. In the last half hour they didn't replenish food that had run out, which is understandable, just something to know. The hotel is pretty much the town's only place to meet for a drink and a chat, apart from one other bar. There were just a few guests around during the week.
