The woman who looked after the buffet and cleaning was very sweet, one of the few good parts of the place. The room itself was clean and spacious, and the location is handy for Portoferraio and some southern beaches. But there was no fridge, despite the description saying there would be, and nowhere to dry swimsuits or towels. The pillows were so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep on them. The owner didn’t welcome us or even give a basic introduction. I’ve never felt so unwelcome by an owner. Breakfast was okay, though at this price I expected more savory choices and fresh cakes instead of industrial ones. We wouldn’t return.

We had a plentiful breakfast with sweet and savory options: homemade cakes, pastries, yogurt, granola, honey, cheeses, eggs, cold cuts, and fruit. The staff and owner were very kind and available, even in the afternoon and evening, and there were lovely chances to enjoy aperitifs and music. The B&B is centrally located, making it convenient to reach every part of the island, while still sitting in a quiet area within a well-kept park. I stayed for five days for a vacation and some work on the island, and had a wonderful time. My room was spacious, welcoming, and spotlessly clean. Each room is named after a fruit or flower; mine was "Peach." I’d sincerely recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful experience on Elba.

The room was especially spacious, clean, and quiet, and there was a beautiful green lawn around the property with several spots to sit and chat. I spent five days at the Acquerelli Hotel at the beginning of the year and had a great experience. Communication with the owners and staff was good, and the atmosphere was lovely. Breakfast in the morning was top-notch, and guests could also have a drink or tea during the day. Definitely an experience worth having. Gianni Martin, Pinerolo, Turin
