Domus Amelio - Country Rooms

Mario was easy to reach and picked us up from the rental car agency, then took us to the airport very early in the morning. His fees seemed more than reasonable for the service and room price, and he even offered a ride to a restaurant. The room was spotless and comfortable, with earplugs for the unavoidable but manageable airport and hotel noise. We arrived in the early evening expecting to need our own food, drinks and coffee, but the room already had everything, including a stocked minibar, snacks, coffee, tea and milk. This is definitely where we’ll stay when flying out of Palermo.

Marco was quick to answer our questions and gave us complimentary snacks, while still making sure we had privacy. He clearly cares about guests and made us feel like family. When we arrived, his warm welcome helped us shake off the travel fatigue. The accommodation was immaculately clean, and he had put together a personal list of local suggestions that was spot on, from hidden gem restaurants to stunning beaches. His hospitality was a highlight of our trip. We can’t wait to return, and couldn’t recommend him more.

The peaceful countryside setting made it easy to relax. At Domus Amelio - Country Rooms, the rooms were spotless, comfortable and beautifully looked after. The hosts were attentive, friendly and so welcoming that I felt right at home.

Mario’s personal service was incomparable. He went well beyond what you’d expect, and the rooms were exceptional too. I’d recommend this place to anyone after a great stay, great service and outstanding value.
