Il Villino

We arrived at midnight, and the owner still let us in. He even drove us to the rental agency when it was time to check out. The house was gorgeous, clean, and had a beautiful view. There was coffee and enough cookies for the whole family, which was a nice touch. Thanks, see you next time!

There were six of us, and we'd happily come back. The owner was so kind, waiting until we finished dinner and then driving us to the villa since we didn't have a car. He came from far away to check us in late at night and open the apartment. The place was very clean and well furnished, with a huge garden that was perfect for relaxing for a couple of days. The new kitchen looked onto the garden and had a fridge and everything we needed. At checkout, the owner also drove us to the rental car. Thanks, Giulio, from all of us!

We couldn't go because of COVID, so I can't really rate the property itself. We had paid €270 for two adults and a child, without using the stay, and I hoped the owner might consider a refund given the situation. What made it worse was that I asked whether I could find replacements and change the booking. Four adults instead of two adults and one child brought the agreed price up to €650. At this property, adding just two adults cost more than booking for two adults and a child. With the emergency going on, I expected a more understanding response, especially on a human level.

We felt good about leaving the car there, since the property is fenced and has plenty of parking right out front. The house sits on a large plot with an olive orchard, and it was very close to the airport. We only stayed one night before our flight. We had good contact with the owner, and I'd recommend it.
