Terme della Versilia - Hotel Villa Undulna

The hotel is in a great spot, and the apartment worked well for our family, though it could use an update. We paid 240 euros a night. I was disappointed breakfast wasn't included. I was willing to pay, but 20 euros per person seemed far too much, even for kids who only eat a bowl of cereal. The pool also needs freshening up. The windows and walls looked filthy, swimming caps were required, and the guard kept whistling when the kids tried to play. We lasted about 30 minutes before heading to the beach. We didn't try the restaurant because it seemed expensive. Honestly, I'd choose a simple hotel or apartment without a spa instead.

The hotel's location made it easy for us to take short trips around beautiful Tuscany and enjoy the Italian Riviera too. Cinque Terre was especially lovely, and easy to reach from the hotel. We felt at home in the comfortable, welcoming accommodations. The spa was a peaceful place to relax and recharge, and breakfast had plenty of delicious choices to set us up for the day. Most of all, Tom and the whole team made the stay memorable with their warmth, care, and readiness to help. Thank you for such a wonderful vacation. We’re already hoping to visit again!

The suite gave our family plenty of room, with three sections and a small kitchenette in case we wanted to cook. We ate at the restaurant most of the time. The location was handy too, just a two-minute walk from the bambini beach. Da Simone is right next door and very welcoming to kids, and there are several beach clubs nearby. Forte is a ten-minute bike ride away, and we'd definitely come back. The staff were so kind, patient, and hospitable even when my two young kids were being a handful. In the mornings, Anna knew our coffee order and had the baby seats ready at the table. The reception staff were lovely as well.

My family and I had such a nice stay here. The rooms and suites are classic, elegant, and comfortable, and the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, with a special big thank you to Carlota and her colleagues for making everything easier and more comfortable for us.
