Even if you’re not there for a meal, it’s worth going up to see the castle and take in the amazing views of the landscape. The setting is gorgeous, but the prices were surprisingly reasonable. The food is very good, whether you fancy a pizza, local tiramisu, or a full meal. Castle Brando also makes a lovely spot for a romantic dinner, time with friends or family, or a special celebration. The atmosphere feels elegant but still welcoming, and the experience is truly memorable.

The castle has 2000 years of history, and that alone makes a stay feel priceless. I travel around the world twice a year and have tried plenty of spas, but I still haven’t found one as magical and complete as this. You just can’t find this kind of history anywhere else. Highly recommend.

The outside is what I loved most: the woods, the fantastic exotic trees, especially the osmanthus and bamboo, plus the fountains, statues, and lights. The view stretches from the bottom of the furnicar all the way to the top of the mountain. So cool. I’ve been several times with both family and friends. My last visit was during the Christmas period a year ago, and the "presepe" and the throne were a really lovely surprise.

The castle is beautiful, with lovely views, tasty food at the restaurant, and prices that are pretty affordable. Still, the experience was bad overall because of the hotel staff. After checking out, we realized we’d left a dress in the closet. We called a couple of hours later, but they said nothing had been left in the room. It’s sad to feel that the people working there had no integrity. That incident left a bad feeling after what had otherwise been an amazing trip and stay.
